Help your Customers to Save on Energy Costs this Winter
As we all look toward savings on outgoings as we come into winter, boiler efficiency is high on the list for consumers, installers and the industry as a whole.
Research from The Sutherland Tables September 2022 findings, shows that by upgrading from a standard efficiency boiler in a house built in the 1980’s to a high efficiency Firebird condensing boiler, the average savings on heating bills can be as much as €1,300 per year. You can see a breakdown of the savings below.

The National Ploughing Championship
The Firebird team enjoyed a brilliant few days at Europe’s largest outdoor event, the National Ploughing Championships 2022 at Ratheniska, Co. Laois from 20th – 22nd September. After three long years, we were delighted to warmly welcome guests to our exhibition area and advise them on the best way to heat their homes sustainably by using our diverse range of heating solutions for new homes or for retrofitting existing homes.
The Ploughing Championships was also the perfect opportunity to showcase our new branding and logo to the public. A completely new look to the Firebird brand, the green in our logo and branding represents sustainability while the silver represents Firebird’s expertise and the solid quality of the products we offer. You certainly couldn’t miss us during the show! We always like to stand out from the crowd!

HVO
In recent developments, we were delighted to hear Michael Healy Rae and Richard O’Donoghue making the case for the use of HVO for domestic heating in the Dáil. It’s great to have the support from these politicians and we will continue to do our utmost to get our points across to the decision makers.

Training
Firebird is delighted to team up with METAC Training to provide Domestic Heat Pump System training at our manufacturing site in Baile Mhic Íre, Co. Cork. The programme provides extensive insight into heat pump systems and will prepare candidates for the end of programme examinations. We have already successfully hosted two training groups and there is another group due in November.
We were also thrilled to welcome Firebird service engineers to Baile Mhic Íre on the 30th of August for a Boiler Product Familiarisation course, it’s been a long time since we were able to do this with Covid restrictions and we hope to invite another group of service engineers in the coming months.
For anyone interested in a Product Familiarisation please contact us at info@firebird.ie or on 026 45253 and we will be happy to arrange another date.
