INSTALLATION & COMMISSIONING


Oil-fired boilers should be installed and commissioned by a qualified OFTEC or suitable qualified engineer. The commissioning engineer will ensure your boiler is set to perform at its optimum in terms of fuel efficiency and emissions. An incorrectly commissioned boiler would result in higher fuel costs, increase maintenance and a reduced boiler life.


ANNUAL SERVICE


Boilers should be serviced annually by an OFTEC or suitably qualified engineer. This is a condition of the second year of Firebird's warranty programme


WARRANTY SERVICE CALLS


If you need to book a service call for a Firebird product contact our service office. Please note that the Product Commissioning Card must be returned to Firebird before a warranty service call can be booked.

Please have the following information ready

  • Product model name & output in BTU's or kW
  • Serial number(s)
  • Year of purchase
  • Name of installation & commissionig engineers

    Our Warranty Policy
     

    OIL-FIRED BOILERS

    Firebird offers 5 years warranty on the boiler shell and 2 years warranty on all other parts from date of installation, provided installation has occurred within 12 months from date of purchase. This warranty is subject to our warranty terms and conditions shown on this website.

    To validate your boiler warranty the commissioning part of the Boiler Passport CD11 must be completed and returned to Firebird Service Department within 10 working days.

    The boiler must be commissioned by an OFTEC or suitably qualified engineer. The boiler passport commissioning form can also be complete online at this link…

    SOLAR

    Firebird offers 5 years warranty on the flat plate and vacuum tube solar collectors and 2 years warranty on all other parts from date of installation, provided installation has occurred within 12 months from date of purchase.

    BIO-MASS BOILERS

    Firebird offers 5 years warranty on the boiler shell and 2 years warranty on all other parts from date of installation, provided installation has occurred within 12 months from date of purchase.
